Your responsibilities
- Support product engineering and other support personnel to achieve design feasibility and in engineering changes
- Responsible for creating the CAD data according the inputs given by product engineering and customer data
- Ensures that product designs consider:
- design for assembly
- design for manufacture
- quality functional deployment
- finite element analysis data
- dimensional variation analysis
- Creates additional data sets as required by the program e.g. 2D drawing, section book, visualization files, exploded views etc. acc. IAC internal & customer requirements
- Pulling out and archiving CAD data into internal and customer based data applications
- Prepare perspective illustrations to improve concept visualization and understanding
- Utilizes CAD and manual design equipment with emphasis on compatibility
Our requirements
- Relevant industry experience in automotive design (interior design preferable).
- Formal education in mechanical engineering, automotive, design, manufacturing or similar.
- In depth knowledge of CAD.
- Familiar with automotive processes such as APQP and FMEA.
- Extraordinary drive for results.
- Effective and creative problem-solving mindset.
- Communicative German and English
