Mould Documentation Analyst & Controller

Main purpose of the job
This will be a day shift role working as part of a new project launch team in an injection moulding environment.
The role is to produce and maintain injection moulding product documentation to IAC / Customer specifications.

Main missions and results
• Be able to create and review PFMEAs either as a team or alone.
• Understand and work with control plans.
• Understand and create process flows using the current IAC std software format.
• Understand and create SOI documents using the current IAC std software format to satisfy both the customer and IAC standards of work, giving full operator instructions including any quality concerns.
• Have a good understanding of mould faults / potential mould faults.
• Knowledge of the 8D procedure in order to close out and eliminate potential fault re-occurrence.
• Aware of secondary process requirements.
• Create production books containing all relevant data to IAC standards.
• Liaise with quality / tooling engineers to create an agreed standard of production mouldings.
• Make / suggest continual improvements to SOI / PFMEA.

Preferred skills and experience
• HSE safe working practices including LOTO, PPE, Risk assessments.
• Excellent Communicator.
• Good level of Literacy / Numeracy with good attention to detail.
• Ability to work as part of a project team or on own initiative.
• Understanding of IATF16949/ISO 9001 Quality Standards.
• Have a good understanding of MS office, Excel / Word.
