Summary:

Prepares and provides all necessary paperwork for Honda shipments based on daily requirements provided by customer.

Duties:

  1. Coordinates the activities of workers engaged in providing shipment of finished goods inventories to ensure Customer Order requirements are realized.
  2. Maintains required service levels, assures inventory and ASN accuracy pertaining to all finished goods.
  3. Reviews customer shipment schedules, checks inventory, and availability and requests transportation as needed.
  4. Prepared order for shipping in accordance with the IAC operating procedures as well as ensuring all customer specific requirements pertaining to delivery and packaging are met.
  5. Prepares all pick tickets and verifies Packing Slip, load plan, labeling and ASN accuracy-including but not limited to part numbers, ship quantities, box/pallet count, lot numbers, and shipping weight.
  6. Communicates on a daily basis with customer and carrier contacts to develop/maintain positive relationships.
  7. Provides detailed data on any potential customer concerns.
  8. Helps enforce safety regulations.
  9. Assist workers in solving problems, helps coordinate the workload across specified area of responsibility.
  10. Observes all health and safety requirements and maintains work areas in a neat, safe and orderly fashion.
  11. Assists Finished Goods Warehouse Supervisor and Team Leader as required and directed.
  12. Performs other reasonably related duties as assigned.

Skills:

Ability to read and write English and to interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, procedure manuals, reports, and other transactional paperwork. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentages and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out complex, multiple instructions. Ability to use judgement to make decisions as variables change and to make adjustments to priorities as the need arises. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standard situations. Ability to get along with co-workers and to function productively in a team environment. Ability to oversee and monitor the activities of multiple individuals and to react to changing priorities in a dynamic environment. Must have excellent interpersonal skills, an ability to establish positive working relationships and possess a significant level of accuracy and attention to detail.
