Summary:
Develop and maintain preventative maintenance program. Improve reliability of equipment, supervise and coordinate activities
of the maintenance staff. Direct and assist in repairing and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines,
motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems and production machines and equipment.
Supervisory Responsibility:
Directly supervises several employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Education and Experience:
Associate’s degree or equivalent in experience and education. Experience: 3 – 5 years in formal supervisory capacity with proven management and technical skills, with in depth knowledge of molding processes, machines, materials and operations. Strong knowledge of Injection Molding processes and equipment and PLC.
