Senior IT Finance Analyst

Main purpose of the job:

Support the implementation of Finance systems and IT technologies across Europe, liaising with functional stakeholders to understand business requirements.

Main missions and results:

  • Lead and participate in multiple projects by completing and updating project documentation; managing project scope; adjusting schedules when necessary; determining daily priorities; ensuring efficient and on-time delivery of project tasks and milestones; following proper escalation paths
  • Identify, create and facilitate process design changes by conducting business and systems process analysis and design at a complex level; focusing on quality improvement and data management; ensuring data is reliable and valid; integrating new systems and processes with existing ones
  • Collaborate closely with developers to implement the requirements, provide necessary guidance to testers during QA process
  • Assess finance processes and system inefficiencies (proactive and reactive)
  • Demonstrated fluency in finance processes and process differentiation
  • Support in analyzing financial data, month end and year end activities
  • Organize data into accessible reports
  • Provide comprehensive financial analysis, forecasting and reporting for assigned areas
  • Understand the different local financial requirements across Europe


Preferred skills and experience:

  • Familiar with Month End procedures: Journal preparation, P&L and Balance Sheet analysis during 3 day close. Balance Sheet reconciliation and responses to analytical queries
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Manufacturing or Automotive experience preferred
  • QAD MFG Pro and SAP ecc 6 experiences preferred
  • MS Office products including extensive Excel
  • Knowledge of plant finance operations
  • Written and verbal communication skills are a must
  • Able to travel extensively with minimal notice
  • Accounting experience in high volume (preferably automotive) manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrable Accounting Experience working in Manufacturing with experience of standard costing systems
