General Description of the Job:

Ensures optimal functioning of building systems including mechanical, electrical, fire/life safety and elevators through a staff of employees in the maintenance of buildings and grounds. Performs preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems. Evaluates and recommends equipment improvement to improve availability, capability and yield. Performs equipment failure analyses, including preventative and unscheduled maintenance. Troubleshoots and diagnoses difficult, infrequent problems with equipment. Prepares technical reports to document equipment modifications and equipment maintenance procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for the implementation and monitoring of TPM, ensure inventory of critical spare parts, maintenance programs based on statistics and maintenance AMEF.

Responsible for complying with preventive and corrective maintenance programs. Inform the maintenance programmer and the Manufacturing Manager of the tools and spare parts necessary to comply with the program.

Responsible for complying with productivity standards and follow up production programs in terms of deadlines and effectiveness, control and verify the efficient use of resources for the achievement of objectives and results, communicate to the personnel of the area about all the information coming from other areas that affect or modify a standard.

Promote the continuous improvement of order, cleanliness and safety of the productive area, control the assistance of the staff, provide adequate resources for operational activities, plan and support the training of operational personnel.

Guarantee the availability of productive equipment. Review weekly compliance with preventive maintenance programs. Review quarterly compliance with predictive maintenance program.

Responsible for ensuring that the parts for the new equipment in the plant are discharged. Support the Engineering Department in the installation and start-up of new equipment. Realization of programs and activities that help reduce downtime in equipment and machinery.

Requirements

  • 5 years Molding / Injection Maintenance Experience, working with: Milacron, KraussMafei and Toshibas Machine.
  • 5 years working in Automotive Industry
  • Leadership.
